About

Pour, stir and sip.
That's what you do for tea.
Lady Grey or Pinkish Rose tea. The pinnacle of joy they are to me.
It'll be nice to have something sweet or savoury but...
Best if we pair tea with friends and family.

Pour, stir and sip.
That's how we all enjoy our tea.
Take a whiff. Enjoy the sights and scenery.
The magic of tea. What will you see?
I don't know about you but all I see is fun, laughter and joy!

Pour, stir and sip.
Everyone should drink tea.
But not every tea is fit for everyone.
If not we wouldn't say "You're not my cup of tea."
But just as Andrew Zimmern says: "If it's looks good, eat it!"
Or in this case, just drink it...

The name's Edward though I wouldn't mind if you just call me thedessertprince. A self professed foodie that love to eat especially those sweet little treats you see during afternoon tea. Don't be fooled by many reviews thinking I'm as adult as anyone out there. I'm just your typical kind of Singaporean youth.

Okay... Maybe not so typical since I study social work in NYP and own a food blog. *High Five if you're a youthful food blogger too!* I shall not say social work is my passion but I sure enjoy the many life skills that were imparted to me. For that, I'm forever grateful to my three lecturers whom I suspect they too stalk my blog.

I started this food blog of mine back in December 2011 with an idea to share what I eat. You can read my long winded genesis here. Then somewhere along the timeline, I decided to change my blog name but I just couldn't decide just what that was till inspiration struck me.

It was really silly actually. Dessert because sweet stuffs brings me joy and as for prince? My mum did name me Edward because she saw Prince Edward Road when I was in her tummy and I thought why not be a little more thick skin and call myself prince! Viola! Thedessertprince was born! Forever seeking all things sweet to tempt fellow friends and readers alike.

I am more than happy to accept products review, food tasting and event invites. Do note that they are non-obligatory and non-bias. Unless agreed, I shall reserved the right to make reviews at my own leisure.

Once again, thank you for making this blog kicking and alive and sorry for those sleepless nights I cause to anyone just because you had cravings after reading my blog.

Camera
I'm currently using the sleek and trusty Panasonic Lumix DMC LX 5. I bring it all around just to practice my photography skills. It's one of the best point and shoot cameras I have and I never regret owning this sleek babe instead of S100. I'm no professional photographer. Just taking pictures of everything and anything worthy of Leica lens.
